Finsight Media started in 2006 as a partnership concern with offices in Pune and Vadodara, India, specialising in content marketing, custom publishing, research, analysis and aggregation & dissemination of business knowledge for financial services and financial technology domains.
Our first project was a monthly journal CRO (Compliance, Risk, and Opportunity) which was the only one of its kind in India. Within a few months of its launch in October 2006, CRO was considered by Indian financial services industry an indispensable source of in-depth, independent and objective information in the areas of risk management, compliance and emerging opportunities. We also created a vibrant community around CRO under the CROConnect banner.
Redesigned ‘The Indian Banker’, the flagship monthly journal of IBA and began custom-publishing it. Started Content Marketing Services.
In 2007, Indian Banks' Association (IBA) wanted to redesign their flagship monthly journal ‘The Indian Banker’. IBA outsourced the content, design, publishing, advertisement sale, printer and subscription management to Finsight. We brought out the first redesigned issue of The Indian Banker in June 2007 which was appreciated by the entire industry.
We are custom publishing ‘The Indian Banker’ for IBA since 2007.
We conceptualised, conducted and created text for interviews of a bank chairman in each issue. We also started Annual Risk and Compliance Summit jointly with IBA.
We provided content creation and content marketing services to Oracle. I-Flex, 3i-Infotech et al. in the form of White Papers, Case Studies and Segment-focused Newsletters. We created quarterly newsletters for content marketing services under the titles of FinEdge and Pulse for a major financial technology service provider for its MEA and Indian markets respectively. Similar services were provided to Asset Reconstruction Corporation of India Limited (ARCIL) for a quarterly newsletter titled ‘Asset’.
Created IBA-Finsight joint research reports as a market research initiative which we offered to sponsors like TCS, NCR, and IBM. We designed the survey, administered it through collecting responses and personal interviews, tabulated and analysed the responses culminating in a well-designed research report. Some titles were: Operational BI, ‘From Compliance to Internal Assessment’, Retail Lending and ATMs.
Provided Knowledge Aggregation services to State Bank of India for Bankers’ Conference (BanCon) 2009-10 in the form of Compendium of Research Papers and Conference Report Book
Finsight Media Private Limited was incorporated with a change of ownership at its registered office in Vadodara. Created Compendium of BanCon Research papers and Conference Report by State Bank of India. Won this order for subsequent years from Central Bank of India, Indian Overseas Bank, Bank of Maharashtra and Bank of India respectively till it was last held in 2013.
Indian Banker custom publishing contract was extended for next three years.
Bank of Maharashtra outsourced content for an inaugural speech by Hon’ble President of India Pratibha Patil marking the beginning of their Diamond Jubilee year.
Custom publishing services to Central bank of India for the booklet of Budget Speeches by Shri Pranab Mukherjee.
